I have been incredibly blessed with an amazing family!  First and foremost, I have the best husband in the world.  He is a worship leader at Northwood Church, truly talented and in love with God.  He is also my best friend and the biggest supporter of my studies and my dreams.  Even though we are extremely different, (I’m a total type A personality and he is one of the most laid-back people I know) I feel like he understands me better than anyone else!  I also have two very wonderful parents.  My dad is so smart and caring.  I have never questioned his devotion to his family or his strength of will in overcoming hard times.  My mom is one of my greatest role models as a successful woman and an extremely loving and devoted wife and mother.  They are both so full of laughter, and they filled my childhood and continue to fill the rest of my life with lots of encouragement, joy, and great memories.  My sister, Nina, is an amazing person who can make friends with anyone.  She is great with children and knows how to make others feel totally appreciated and loved.  I also have an amazing new family since my marriage to Mikey.  His family is huge, so I can’t name everyone :) But his mom and dad have welcomed me with open arms, and I truly feel like part of their family.  Mikey’s next brother in line (Mikey is the oldest) Chad and his wife Melissa are two great friends of ours. I feel like I have another sister in Melissa, who is always there for a laugh or a good conversation.  She has been such a huge blessing since moving back to Charleston!  And last, but certainly not least, there is Oliver, our baby terrier.  He is wonderful!  And he definitely completes mine and Mikey’s family.  For now :)
